ABOUT: RONALOU LAU

I graduated with a Diploma in Professional Makeup Artistry from Cosmo Prof International, I have worked for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and now work as a free-lance professional makeup artist, based in Singapore.

Since an early age, I have always held a deep fascination with makeup and its ability to either enhance one's natural beauty or completely transform a person's look.

This early fascination quickly developed into a full blown passion, which led me to pursue makeup artistry as a professional career.

My passion for makeup is only matched by my personal drive to constantly improve my makeup abilities. I am constantly on the look out for new, exciting and cutting-edge techniques to ensure that my style remains dynamic and relevant.

My inspiration is drawn from my clients, my students, and from other makeup artists.

Key makeup artists who have inspired my style include: Anne Staunsager, Rae Morris, Val Garland, Pat Mcgrath, Alex Box, Lisa Eldridge, Bobbi Brown and Samantha Chapman.

Bridal Makeup actual day package 1 ~ **$650 includes: Bridal makeup x 1, Groom light touch-up, faux lashes x 1, Ampoule x1, flower girl makeup (if any), bridal hair style x 1 done by a professional hairstylist.

Bridal Makeup actual day package 2 ~ **$1200 includes: Bridal makeup x 1, Ampoule x1 (For Bride only), Faux lashes x 4, Mother-inlaw makeup & hair x 2, Sister makeup & hair x 1 (these can be changed if need be, for example if you have 1 mothers or 2 sisters instead it can replace the mother x 1 and sister x 1 - max 4 pax for this package).

If you need to add an extra person for hair & makeup it will be extra $120/pax

Applying make-up is an art-form. So think of yourself, as a potential masterpiece.

This workshop will teach you the fundamentals. Proper technique, common mistakes to avoid,

and how to maintain your brushes, are the essential things you will learn.

You will also learn how to create three highly popular looks on yourself: (1) Natural, (2) Smokey eyes, and (3) Sexy cat’s eyes.

Whether you have absolutely no idea about make-up or you just simply want to learn the basic fundamentals in personal makeup, this workshop is for you.

I have combined the fundamental elements taught to students learning to become professional make-up artists, with my own experience, to create a workshop highly focussed on practical and interactive learning.

The workshop itself has been designed to cater for no more than 3 students at any one time, enabling you to learn in a personalized, interactive and fun environment.

This is not a workshop about boring theory and irrelevant concepts. It is a workshop which aims to empower you with the make-up techniques that professional make-up artists actually use. You will learn skills that are instantly relevant, which can be used every time you apply make-up.

At the end of the day, you don’t need to be a professional make-up artist, but you can certainly learn to put on make-up like one. I can show you how!
